starting with the newest one on top. 10 January 2011 President Brown Reception Happy New Year Folks! Wish you all have a happy and prosperous new year 2011. To kick of a brand new year, we had meet President Brown at the Conrad Hong Kong Hotel on Jan 10. The reception was very successful with over 60 alumni and friends attended the event. President Brown and all guests had a good time to socialize with each other. More news & events will be announced soon. Stay tune with us. 10-11 December 2010 The 3rd BU Asian Alumni Business Forum 2010 Seoul Under the leadership of Mr. Young J. Han, Chairman of the BU Asian Alumni Committee (BUAAC), and Mr. Yongmaan Park, Chairman of the BUAA Korea, the 3rd BU Asian Alumni Business Forum 2010 was successfully held in Seoul, South Korea on December 2010. A big group of overseas alumni travelled all the way long from Beijing, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Taipei for the weekend of business networking and fun. We had a very good show up of over 200 BU alumni from all over Asia came together to celebrate the event. This proves the strong and lasting bonds of the BU alumni community. Please enlarge the image below for details. 24 April 2009 Boston University men's ice hockey team wins the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship! The Terriers defeated the University of Miami, 4-3 in overtime on Saturday April 11 in what many are calling the greatest college hockey game ever played! Please click the image below for photos. 19 April 2009 Welcoming Party for Undergraduate Freshmen 2009 Going away to college is a big transition! A Welcoming Party was designed for all freshmen in Hong Kong to make that transition easier. Please click the image below for details. 1 April 2009 International Applications Continue to Rise Despite a dwindling global economy, Boston University continued its upward trend in overseas applications this year, breaking last year’s record of 3,822 by almost 400 applicants. Please click the image below for details. 17 February 2009 Dean Stamas Dinner Reception Mr. James T. Stamas, Dean of the School of Hospitality Administration at Boston University, visited Hong Kong from 16-17 February 2009. A dinner reception was held on 17 February, to give alumni and parents a chance to meet with Dean Stamas and to learn about the latest developments at the SHA and BU. Dinner was held at Hakka Ye Ye, an ethnic Chinese restaurant owned by Ms. Wendy Cheung from SHA ’02.
